Privacy Policy

This policy explains the data PAQGEN processes for product authenticity, brand workspaces, QR verification, printing, support, and platform security.

Data We Process

PAQGEN stores brand account data, company workspace data, product records, packaging artwork, QR batch/unit records, customer scan events, IP address, browser/device details, optional scan location when a customer grants permission, print history, and audit logs.

How We Use Data

We use data to create QR records, render print files, verify scans, show customer authenticity results, investigate repeated or invalid scans, administer users, secure accounts, provide support, and maintain audit history.

Brand Workspace Isolation

Each brand workspace is separated in the database by company schema. API requests are checked against the authenticated user role and company. Platform superadmin access is restricted to administration, security, support, and operational needs.

Customer Scan Location

Location sharing is optional. If a customer allows location sharing, PAQGEN stores approximate location coordinates, accuracy, timezone, language, and platform details with the scan event to help brands investigate authenticity risk.

Retention

Production, scan, print, and audit records are retained while the brand workspace is active unless a retention agreement says otherwise. Company admins may request export or deletion subject to contract, legal, support, and security obligations.
